B&B 'Alma do Campo'!
Please allow us to introduce ourselves. We are Jacques and Loraine Visser - Schoevers and after many years of living here and there, we decided to settle down here in this idyllic, unspoilt part of Portugal.

Our mutual history goes back to Curaçao, where Jacques managed his own radio station and at the same time, keeping a Destination Management Company for Incentive Travel alive, whilst Loraine held various management positions in the Tourism and Meetings and Incentive sector, followed by 7 years of consultancy work with PWC. We married in 1997 and were blessed with two beautiful children a year later. In 2003 Loraine switched career, and started as Director with a software licensing company, which took her and the family to Malta.

After 12 years in Malta we decided it was time for a change. The kids were out of the house, which made it easier to take the next step. We both immediately fell in love with the Algarve, her mesmerising panoramic views, the mouthwatering fresh fish, and the beauty of the Ria Formosa, which became our daily view. In 2018 we found our own piece of paradise in Vale da Mo, Pechao in the Eastern part of the Algarve. The beauty made us decide to share this experience with others. Not just with family and friends, but also with guests like you. People who can appreciate the beauty of nature, and who are craving for a stay in a peaceful, quiet and safe environment, whilst still enjoying the many activities the Algarve has to offer. Our dream became reality at the start of 2021 when the construction of both our home and its B&B with 4 luxurious apartments were finalised and ready to receive its first guests.
