B&B 'Alma do Campo'!
We'd like to introduce ourselves. We are Jacques and Loraine Visser-Schoevers, and after many wanderings, we've settled in this exquisite spot in Portugal.
Many wanderings, as our shared history goes back to Curaçao, where Jacques ran his own radio station and also ran an incentive travel company. Loraine held various management positions in tourism and the meetings & incentives sector, followed by seven years of consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 2003, Loraine started working at a software licensing company and, in 2007, was relocated to Malta with her family.
After 12 years in Malta, it was time for the next step. We both immediately fell in love with the Algarve, its stunning views, the delicious fresh fish, and the beauty of the Ria Formosa, which we overlook. And in 2018, we found our own little piece of paradise in Vale da Mo, Pechao. We're eager to share this experience with others. Not only with family and friends, but also with guests like you, who appreciate the peace and beauty of nature, who enjoy a peaceful stay, yet still want to enjoy the many activities the Algarve has to offer. In early 2021, our dream became a reality; our house and B&B with four luxurious apartments are ready, and we've already welcomed our first guests.
